Watch for me in the Washington Post under Maryland politics. I went to the Doug Duncan Town Hall meeting tonight and asked some pointed questions. Got some decent rhetoric which, if true, makes him look like a decent choice for Maryland governor. Noticed a reporter in the background, and chatted him up after the meeting, at which point he made sure he had my name spelled correctly. Interesting.
We’ll see if anything comes from it. I’m leaning a little closer to voting for him vs O’Malley (especially if the latter really likes slots). He seems to be strong on education, but I’ve got experience with politicians who talk real well, but who can’t follow through, and that’s the last thing we need when it comes time to unseat Erlich.
There’s other stuff, but not at 12:45am. I’m going to bed.
